"'For I know the plans I have for you,'declares the Lord.'Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"Jeremiah 29:11
I can not tell you how many times I recalled this verse over the long winter... during the 3.5 months living apart from my husband... throughout the uncertain period of job-hunting, hoping and praying the right opportunity would present itself... waiting for God to reveal what he had in store for the next chapter of our lives... Jeremiah 29:11 over and over and over...
And finally His plan was revealed and I trust with all my heart in His timing and His placement for us. On Sunday, my husband and I got the news that he has been offered a wonderful job in Charlottesville, VA which he has accepted! I could not be more excited for us to start our lives in this beautiful southern town and to grow my business there. I am immediately overwhelmed with the to-do's (of course, it's me we're talking about) as we hope to move and be settled there by the end of this May, but I feel so good about the opportunity awaiting us both there.
For anyone who's planned a wedding, you can probably relate to the feeling I have now: you plan and plan and plan for sometimes a year or more in preparation for that one big day, but there are certain things you just can't do until the week or even the day before! After all that planning and prepping, you still find yourself flitting around like a maniac getting things in order when the actual day is upon you. So that's going to be my life for the next two weeks. I want Firefly Photography to hit the ground running in Charlottesville.
I am so READY to just put it all into action, to really be the successful business I've dreamt it to become and offer the service that I've been preparing for months. Things are about kick into major high gear, people. Charlottesville, HERE WE COME!
