2015 was the most incredible year of my life and I say that with absolute confidence. At the start of the new year, I vowed to let life happen— to listen, let go, to “say ‘surprise me’ and leave the big plans up to God.”

Well, I did and he showed up in a big way.

I experienced the miracle of growing life, which was the biggest and best surprise of my life, and the most transformative experience I’ve ever had. We found our first home and made it our own. I saw real, promising growth in my business and skills that reassured me that this path I’m walking is working and worth every ounce of effort I’ve struggled through.

The new year is the perfect time to forecast, to dream big, and re-energize the mind/soul/body for better things to come. But I believe it’s just as important, and crucial before moving forward, to first reflect on the past. When we stop to see where we’ve come from, to acknowledge our growth, we can embrace the change and challenges ahead with hope and renewed passion.

Looking through my sessions from 2015 gave me butterflies; I feel so excited by all the joyful new families and friends I was able to meet and photograph that it makes me that much more motivated. I know it sounds cliche, but their smiles are my adrenaline!

With that, take a look back with me at some of my favorite portraits from 2015!

It literally pained me to pick and choose. I swear this is as narrowed as I could make it from my original list of over 80. Sooooo sorry about that, but I'm just so in love with all my 2015 clients. I'm so grateful to have been a part of these beautiful moments with such beautiful people!

Thank you all for allowing me to come into your hearts and homes this past year and I hope we continue to share and love together in the new year :-)
