This little guy was wide awake when I first arrived and his big blue eyes stole me right away! Dad's love for baseball inspired the sweetest grey/white/and blue baseball themed nursery, so we definitely wanted to capture the sentiment in that space. Even family dog Izzy joined in for the cuddles.
As long as he was wrapped up with mom and dad, Easton was perfectly content and taking in his new surroundings. We spend some more time in their gorgeous master bedroom and it was so sweet to watch these new parents fawn over their little man. Some of the most special images from this shoot are of Easton in the wooden cradle which belonged to his dad when he was a baby. I always love incorporating those story-telling details whenever possible!
Lastly, mom Maria had requested we get a few shots with Easton in his dad's college baseball glove. He was starting to get a little uneasy with all this excitement though and definitely did not want to be on his own in a leather mitt, so we got creative and found the perfect pose that not only helped him drift off to sleep, but create our favorite images from the session! The cherry on top? This set was taken in the landing of a stairway because it was the best and cleanest light in the house!
They ended up selecting a trio of 11x14 mounted prints to frame and display in their home, plus a selection of gift prints to share with far off family. Congratulations to Maria and Ross on your new adventures awaiting with baby Easton! :-)
