Holiday Express Session Recap
In December, I decided to do something new -- I didn't want to offer the typical "mini-session" that so many people do-- (if you want to know why, check out this post.) Still, I wanted to provide a last minute option for families to try out this style of photography and the experience that makes Firefly unique, plus update some images for their holiday cards and other basic needs.

My newsletter subscribers were the first to hear and have access to these one day only sessions, and I was so excited that I had 3 returning clients and several other subscribers sign up. It was so much fun to have this quick session to catch-up and see how they've changed! Photography is an investment, and especially when you've done several sessions in that first monumental year of a child's life, you're not quite ready to keep it up. You'll run out of wall and shelf space before they're in preschool! Trust me, I get it -- and I was really touched that this option worked for them.

What a relief it was that we were blessed with a relatively warm, sunny, and lovely winter day -- no wind, bad weather or anything of the sort to throw a wrench in our sessions. Just giggles, snuggles, kisses, and play. It was smooth, efficient, fun-filled, and an absolutely joyful way to end the shooting season for 2016.
But really though, how can you beat this? Dare you not to smile/laugh when you see this session. Seriously, the icing on the cake.
I hope you all had an amazing holiday and will join me on the blog in 2017!
